Back then we started with assets just under $1 million and today we have over $400 million in assets, deposits of over $340 million and equity capital of over $16 million. Central Virginia Bank operates as a state chartered member of the Federal Reserve System and our deposits are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Central Virginia Bankshares, Inc., a one bank holding company.
