    We appreciate the trust you have placed in us, and we will protect that trust by continuing to respect the privacy of all of our customers even if the formal relationship ends.

    We want you to understand what information we collect and how we use it. This Privacy Policy applies to consumer accounts and reflects our commitment to your privacy.

    Nonpublic personal information includes information such as your social security number, account number, account balance, payment history, overdraft history, and debit or credit card purchase information.

    We may collect this nonpublic personal information about you from:

    • Information we receive from you on applications or other loan and account forms.
    • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others.
    • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency such as credit bureaus.
    • Information about your Internet usage if you use our Internet site.

    We may share information we collect about present and former customers with other companies within our family of companies. Our "family" is the group of companies related to us by common control or ownership.

    • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others, such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions, and credit card usage.

    In the case of a joint or co-owned account, we will consider notification from any owner electing to restrict the sharing of his or her nonpublic personal information (and its use in any marketing) as applying to all owners on the account.

    • We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

    We strive to ensure that your information is accurate in all respects. If we become aware of inaccuracies in our records, we will take prompt action to make appropriate corrections.

    We utilize a combination of safeguards to protect customer information, including employee training, rigorous security standards, data encryption and fraud detection.

    We encourage you to partner with us in safeguarding your information. You can take the following steps to avoid becoming a victim of identity theft:

    • Don’t give your Social Security or account numbers to anyone over the phone unless you initiated the call.
    • Shred old receipts, old account statements and unused credit card offers.
    • Review your account and credit card statements as soon as you receive them to check for unauthorized transactions.
    • Protect your personal identification number (PIN) and computer passwords; use a combination of letters (both uppercase and lowercase), numbers, and special characters/symbols (if possible) and change them often. Never carry this information with you!
    • Order copies of your credit report once a year to ensure accuracy. Call any of the three national credit reporting agencies: Trans Union (800) 888-4213, Equifax (800) 685-1111 and Experian (888) 397-3742. You may also go to www.annualcreditreport.com to request your credit report.
