A wire transfer is simply an electronic method of transfering funds from your account to the account of a second party, usually through the Federal Reserve Wire Network or the Clearing House Interbank Payments System.

Funds may be sent by wire to anyone, anywhere, both inside the U.S. as well as internationally. To begin the process of sending funds by wire you must visit one of our convenient branch locations. There is a very simple form that must be completed. Some of the information you will need to complete this form includes the recipient banks name, physical address, routing number and the account number of the party receiving the funds. Although there is no fee for funds wired into your account, there is a small fee for funds wired out of your account to another bank. This fee is:

$15.00 - Outgoing wire to a domestic, U.S. bank

$40.00 - Outgoing wire to a foreign bank
